Derek Anderson was just named Cleveland's starting Qb for week four. Alright sports fans, let's hear it. Yay or nay?

  1. To be honest, he may help us win a few games if he starts the rest of the season and look like a pro-bowler in those games (i.e. vs NYG last year)...

The problem with Anderson is, and has always been, his inconsistency and dangerous gunslinger mentality. Anderson may have the arm, but he doesn't have the smarts or the luck to be compared to the other great QB's that have been called gunslingers. I expect the Browns to score a couple touchdowns this week, but Anderson will come out with another two-three picks and we'll lose again.

I'm just disgusted by the fact that Quinn has only started and completed 4 games in his NFL career and Mangini feels the need to shut the book on him now...Quinn has only played behind a terrible right side of the Offensive Line and hasn't had time to develop fully under game speed through experience.

What I believe is that Mangini doesn't like either QB and is just trying to get Anderson to perform well for trade bait and keep moving forward to find "his guy"
